NoMetSyn

NoMetSyn is a natural alternative to the drug metformin which is commonly used to improve insulin sensitivity in horses and ponies. Insulin resistance is one of the most common predisposing factors in equine laminitis and Cushing's Disease.

NoMetSyn is a blend of plant extracts which have proven highly effective in normalising blood insulin concentrations in insulin resistance equines. Additionally insulin resistant horses and ponies develop distorted hooves characteristic of chronic founder following an episode of laminitis. This distortion persists and is unaffected by the drug metformin.


PulmoEase

PulmoEase is a natural alternative to the drugs clenbuterol and dembrexine commonly used to relieve asthmatic symptoms and breathing difficulties in horses. PulmoEase is a finely powdered mixture of four plant extracts which has proven antihistaminic, immunomodulating and bronchodilatory effects effective even when conventional drugs have failed to relieve breathing difficulites. PulmoEase is used at the Laminitis Clinic as the first choice treatment for cases of chronic pulmonary disease, asthma and headshaking. PulmoEase has a pleasant odour and taste and is readily consumed by horses and ponies and can be used on a long term basis with no ill-effects.

Solution4 Feet

A breakthrough in hoof disinfection. This new product combines the disinfectant powers of two natural oils and four modern disinfectants in a state of the art organic matrix which allows both rapid penetration of the active ingredients into the horn yet also provides a sustained release mechanism for prolonged effective action. Secondly, Solution4 Feet includes substances which help to keep the horn at the correct state of hydration; neither too wet nor too dry or brittle. Thirdly, Solution4 Feet provides phospholipids essential constituents of healthy horn and a powerful antioxidant. Apply Solution4 Feet once or twice weekly to control horn problems. Regular use of Solution4 Feet leaves a healthy hoof with a beautiful lustre.


Solution4 Feet Matrix

Solution4 Feet Matrix is a filamentous keratinous base impregnated with the 21st Century hoof disinfectant Solution4 Feet.

Solution4 Feet Matrix prevents and treats horn infections when used under the branches of the shoe to pack the white line, in and around the frog, under sole or frog pads and into any defects in the hoof following removal of infected horn.

The form of Vitex agnus castus used in the Laminitis Trust Trial. Vitex4 Equids is made using purified water in a laboratory licenced under the Medicines Acts 1968 and 1971 so is of guaranteed purity. Vitex4 Equids is used to support the horse's hormonal balance, to control unpredictable or aggressive behaviour and to maintain optimal reproductive efficiency in breeding animals.

WeighTapes
Experience has shown that owners are not always very accurate in estimating the weight of their animals. Not only will a weightape make it easier for you to keep your horse at Condition Score 3 but you will have the peace of mind that you are providing the correct dose of any medicines your horse needs. Underdosing with wormers increases the risk of worm resistance and will lead to your wormers becoming ineffective.
